Terms and Conditions of Sale
All information on this site is to the best of our knowledge and intention, correct but is given for Purchaser guidance only.
Price
Prices are correct at time of most recent web site update, and are subject to variation without notice.
All prices will be those in force and confirmed at the time of order acceptance.
Any price quotation is valid for 30 calendar days from issue, and is fixed on receipt of order confirmation.
Prices quoted are ex-works unless otherwise stated.
Delivery Times
Delivery times quoted to the Purchaser will be maintained to the best of our ability.
Delivery will be confirmed at the time of receipt of order.
On long lead time items, an estimate of delivery may be given with a confirmation to be provided at a later date.
Any delay in delivery will immediately be notified to the Purchaser.
In the event that a delivery period is significantly extended over that originally quoted, the Purchaser may cancel the order.
In this case, the Purchaser will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
In the event that delivery delay is requested by the Purchaser, Viking-Resources reserve the right to request a cost adjustment.
Order Placement, Acceptance & Cancellation
An order will be deemed to have been accepted on confirmation by email or in writing by Viking-Resources.
Some items require a deposit to be paid prior to any order being accepted.
In the event of Viking-Resources being unable to fulfil the order, this deposit will without prejudice, be refunded in full.
In the event of cancellation by the Purchaser, the deposit is non-refundable.
Packing, Carriage & Insurance
Unless otherwise stated, prices are ex-works; i.e. carriage & packing is charged extra.
An estimate of shipping costs will be provided on request, confirmation of cost will be notified at time of shipping.
Insurance is available at additional cost to the purchaser.
Invoices & Payment
All invoices are due for settlement in full within 30 calendar days of issue.
Payment may be made by personal cheque (UK only), International Money Order or Paypal.
All payments are to be made to Viking-Resources.
Please note that any transaction charges are to be bourne by the Purchaser.
Title to Goods
All goods remain the property of Viking-Resources until payment is received in full.
Claims
The Purchaser must notify both the carriers and Viking-Resources in writing in the case of non-delivery of goods within 21 days of dispatch.
Shipping damage or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
In the event of goods arriving in a damaged condition, the goods and packing shall be retained by the purchaser for inspection, until authorisation for disposal is given by Viking-Resources. This permission will not be unreasonably withheld.
V.A.T., Taxes & Customs Clearance
Viking-Resources is not VAT registered so VAT is not charged.
Any local taxes or customs clearance is the responsibility of the Purchaser. Viking-Resources will issue pro-forma invoices for customs purposes on request.
Liabilty
Viking-Resources accept no liability for any loss, direct or consequential resulting from use/misuse of our products or services.
Refunds
We strive to ensure your satisfaction with purchases from Viking-Resources. If you are not satisfied we will replace the goods, issue a credit note or refund your money.
Guarantee
All goods sold carry a 6 month guarantee against faulty workmanship or materials. This period runs from date of despatch of the goods concerned. This guarantee does not cover damage or injury sustained through misuse of any of our products. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
Claims
The Purchaser must notify Viking-Resources in writing within the guarantee period in the case of dissatisfaction with a purchase.
Governing Law
All contracts entered into by Viking-Resources are governed by English Law.
